Thanks to Collin Kelley
At the risk of creating a loop of congratulation, I have to extend my deep thanks to Collin Kelley, the producer of Saturday night's Naked, Pagan, and Uncensored show. I had a fantastic time, even though I missed the first several hours of performances by working in the box office. When I took the stage, the energy in the room was absolutely perfect, which is no small feat considering that it was close to 1am by then.
I am grateful to have spent New Year's Eve with friends and loved ones and to have shared a bill with such spectacular performers. The post-show hangout at 7 Stages, drinking champagne from the bottle on Euclid Ave, will live in my mind always. It was truly the best New Year's I can remember, and I sincerely hope that it sets the tone for every day of 2006.
Thank you Collin, Melissa, Theresa, Karen, Amanda, Dustin, Alice, Mack, Jen, and everyone else who worked on, performed at, or came out for NPU.
