Ladyfest South in Atlanta

Ladyfest South 2007 is officially under way. I'm just back from Eyedrum where the excellent Julia Carroll and Amy Lashley both played sets, with cello in the background. I know the cellist is named Brennan, but I don't know her last name.

Tomorrow, I've got a short set at (wait for it... wait for it...) the Earl sometime between 8 and 9.

Yes, the Earl. EARL. East Atlanta Restaurant & Lounge. That Earl. An Atlanta stage I've never performed on. An Atlanta stage I've wanted to perform on for years. Oh hell yeah.

Lots of other awesome on the bill: Theresa Davis, Athens Boys Choir, Sonia Tetlow, Corey Houlihan, My Siamese Self, and many more. Plus great stuff happening at the IF Coffeehouse in Little Five Points.

It goes on and on. Gonna be a good weekend.
